This is a family business and they were very friendly and helpful. I needed a vintage watch that belonged to my grandmother repaired, and they fixed it quickly and had great communication on what it would cost and how long it would take. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who needs their services.

Be aware, they will not accept returns even at Christmastime. My son bought his very first gift ever here, not knowing what he was doing or that returns would not be accepted.

I would think for a kid who bought a present at Christmas time, they would make an exception.

The owner said no because we are locally owned.

So is Made in Chico literally across the street with a WAY better selection and the owner is a wonderful person and they also do full returns!

They sell some neat little things in the shop. They were able to get us in same-day to remove a few links from my husband's watch. Whole doing so did end up taking about 40 minutes, the staff was really friendly and the cost was very reasonable. We also ended up getting a new battery put in while we were there. My husband bought me two metal hair clips here that are very sturdy and hold nice and tight. I have loved them so far!

My usual routine is to do a search using Google Maps when looking for pretty much any type of business. - This place was open on a Friday afternoon. Yahooooo! I had called at least 2 other watch sales & repair places but they were closed.
You know what they say all "Good" things happen for a reason! Glad it worked out that the other stores were closed. I was happy to find that The Watchmen was open.
It is a family owned business and now it has become my "Goto" store for all my watch or clock repairs.
I took in a wrist watch that has a lot of sentimental value attached to it. It is a very nice Tissot men's wrist watch that is a very nice time piece. I have to say "wherever" I would have taken it for repair I was a little apprehensive about leaving because of attachment I have to it.

The owner assured me that it would be just fine. When I left this place I had a good "Heart" feeling about this place.
I had the crystal replaced because of scratches on the old, a thorough cleaning, and a new battery installed.
When picking up my watch today I was expecting to pay more & was pleassntly surprised that my bill was more than reasonable. Will definitely be sending folks to The Watchman if I hear them mention they need a clock or watch repaired.
I will most definitely be back here again for all my watch or clock repair needs that I have ... Al : )

I took my cheap discount department store watches here to have them looked at after another battery place told me that they were not working. Supposedly this other place had replaced the batteries but the watches were broken. I was willing to pay anything to have these watches working again! I explained this to the gentlemen working and he popped the backs off, informed me that the batteries were "original" and that both watches fired right up after he put new batteries in! All said, we were in and out within 10 minutes and 20 bucks. I am so happy with this service and friendliness. I peeked around the shop while I was waiting and noticed quite a nice selection of watches. Being a watch junky, I'll be back, and I will never trust so called "battery experts" with my precious time pieces again.

What a great shop! I took my Tissot down because the chronograph dials were no longer landing at the 12/0 point, but a few click back. I figured he's need to take off the case and adjust it, best case. However this fellow has such a good knowledge of watches, he just took the watch, pressed the buttons a bunch of times, and viola, the dials were back where they belonged. I'm impressed by his knowledge and skill, I will always come back here for any of my watch needs.

I walked passed the store this morning and these cute dainty rose rings caught my eye. When I walked in Jake immediately struck up a conversation withme and that's all is a great customer service. Thank you so much for making me feel welcome. Plus I bought my mother a cute ring as well.

Great experience! Had one watch repaired and I bought an outdoor more rugged watch. He helped me by answering all my questions, was patient with me, plus he has a wealth of watch knowledge! Will definitely be back for all my watch needs! Plus the store has other merchandise worth taking a look at!
