Dr. Saldanha is truly amazing! I can’t even begin to express my gratitude to her and her team! She treated my mother, who found out she had breast cancer in one breast through a mammogram at WGH. Through further tests, Dr. Saldanha found she had cancer in both breasts. After unclear imaging through a CT scan of her abdomen, Dr. Saldanha, Dr. Tayshetye, and her care team insisted she have a PET scan, and they found a separate, unrelated cancer. Because of how thorough she was, my mother was able to have her surgeries and is cancer free! Dr. Saldanha was patient and kind, taking the time to answer all of our questions and relieve the anxieties we had. Because of her, I am now on a preventative imaging plan to be monitored for breast cancer as well. Dr. Saldanha has been such a blessing for our family, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking a caring, thorough doctor ❤️

Our family will forever be grateful to.Dr. Saldahna. When my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer we were scared of the future. At our first meeting with her she put my mother, sister, and myself at ease. We spent 2 1/2 hours with her. She eased all our worries and answered all our questions. My mother has had her surgery and I am happy to say Dr. Saldahna got it all. We will forever be grateful for Dr. Seldahna for saving my mother's life. Michelle Swartout

Do not use this surgeon if you are a smoker. She made it very clear that she doesn't care for smokers and mostly just spoke to my non-smoking husband during the visit. She seemed delighted to tell me that she was going to amputate my breast, but that I couldn't have any type of reconstructive surgery because I haven't managed to quit smoking yet. She also threatened to not be my surgeon if I didn't have the procedure done within 2 weeks. I asked about waiting to see if I could reduce the tumor size with aromatase inhibitors for a less invasive surgery and was told no. All she cares about is getting patients on her table. I will be choosing a different surgeon that treats patients with respect to be part of my team.

Dr. Saldanha treated my mother that was diagnosed with Invasive Lobular Carcinoma in recent months. During the initial consultation, there was not a stone unturned in regards to the current diagnosis, surgical pathway, and post-op expectations. Surgery was a complete success! The attention to surgical detail was unmatched. HIGHLY recommend! A well run office, very attentive and welcoming staff!
Erie, Pa is very lucky to have Dr. Saldanha for women's health!

If anyone is going through breast cancer, Doctor Saldanah is top notch! She works well with her team and she is very thorough. She takes the time to help you understand whats going on with your unique situation. You never feel rushed or unimportant. She’s compassionate yet straightforward! I really feel she gives you 110% each time you visit! I’m glad my health is in her hands along with the very competent team and staff!

I was diagnosed with breast cancer on November 10 of 2022. My first appointment with Dr Saldanha was December 12. She had a pin/button on her lab coat that said, "I hate cancer". I liked her immediately. She explained my cancer to me and then proposed the treatment options. I liked the plan she came up with and signed my consent that day, instead of setting up another appointment. She answered all of my questions and removed a great deal if fear for me. She recommended that I get a breast reduction,(I was quite large chested, a Double EE at the very least without being measured). We set up my cancer team and got the ball rolling. She was also a wonderful surgeon and was very thorough.
