I had been meaning to swing by and check this place out for the longest time and finally did that on Saturday while out running errands and was not disappointed! I want to say thank you to Jennifer for taking the time to go the extra mile to speak to me. She gave me a ton of great tips on different products to use and how to care for the different types of boots I own. I will definitely be back when it’s time to have any work done or when I need more care products. This place is ran by some wonderful people. Check them out!

I came here after reading the reviews and it was the best decision I could have made regarding footwear. Jenn is very knowledgeable and will make sure that you get the boots you need. She treats her customers as friends, not as just as sources of money. I’ve been back a few times to get other stuff and it’s always a joy to see her again. This is the kind of service that used to be, before the faceless profit-driven chain stores began taking over. Do yourself a favor and get it done right. It’s important to keep people like Jenn in business.

Great local business that is super knowledgeable about shoes and boots. I had Birkenstocks repairs and bought rugged boots.

I brought in a pair of Birkenstock sandals that were beyond repair. With the damage they had most people would have bought a new pair. I was presented with a fair analysis of buying vs resole. I choose to resole so that the sole could be a very durable Vibram with a custom color and a skull ☠️ pattern. Now I get to keep the old shoes that I am used to and have an awesome custom sole. J&M Boots did an amazing repair job! I should have taken my shoes there sooner.

The Carolina boots that I bought there will certainly get regular tune-ups at J&M to make sure they have a long useful life.

Before I give you my review of J&M boot repair, let me tell you what kind of boot wearer I am. I work in EMS, and I'm rather stingy with my pay. I am hard on my boots and feet, and don't like to cheap out on footwear. I don't particularly enjoy buying boots every year so I generally invest a good portion of my uniform allowance into good boots. Downside to this is you'll get a boot that feels great, but over time degrades and will require another large sum of money to replace.
Enter J&M boot repair. Jennifer has breathed new life into more than one pair of my boots. Where I would normally spend another $300 on another pair of danners, she throws on a new soul and gives them a little TLC and they're feeling like new. I've easily gotten more than a year and a half out of her work before my boots need to go back for a little more attention. I have stretched the lifespan of some boots to unspeakable horrors, but I revel in the opportunity to give Jennifer my business. If you have any doubt about the level of service or quality of her work, I challenge you to take your footwear to her and let all those doubts be laid to rest. I will continue to patron her business for many years to come!

Got my sneakers cleaned here and they took really good care of them. I had some suede shoes I had been neglecting but they look fresh now. And the price was great!
