We share a driveway with our neighbor and contacted DYM to build a cinder block /stucco wall down a portion of the driveway. This is probably a very small project for them and a big one for us. DYM took our project seriously and assigned a great crew to work with us to decide what the wall and gates should look like. Everyone on the team was extremely professional. We love the way it turned out and would recommend DYM to anyone needing a home/landscape project completed in a top notch fashion.

What an amazing journey it was working with the team at DYM Builders Group.
From the office team, to the project manager - Roy, and the field workers, everyone was so kind and professional.

My first time meeting with DYM was a site walkthrough for the complete remodel project I was interested in. Roy came in with bootie covers, was helpful and mindful of all the little requests my Wife and I had. The project was completed a 1.5 weeks after the project end goal which was great. Dealing with the city to get a permit to remove a few retaining walls was much more simpler than expected due to their in-house team.

My wife and I are in awe with the final results and are using the indoor spaces for enjoyment and hosting like we wanted/as well at the outdoor patio and pergola.

Highly recommend working with DYM, super professional and a great experience overall!

DYM has been amazing during our kitchen remodeling process!! I cannot recommend them enough. So far we did the architectural planning and the 3D rendering with them, and they have been extremely attentive and nice throughout the process! I feel like this would be extremely stressful without them, and we feel comfortable asking them any questions no matter how trivial. We highly recommend Moses and the team at DYM Builders for any type of construction, remodeling, or renovation services you might need. They built an ADU for my home in Lake forest and did an outstanding job. We’re thrilled to now have the extra space that can be used for guests or even as a home office.

We hired DYM and had good and bad experiences depending upon the contractors they were using for parts of the remodel.

Their plumbers were pretty good and I had no problems with any of their work.

Electricians were shaky, tried to rush things, and led to issues that I had to fix outside the warranty period. The electrician I had fix the outlets they improperly installed said the wiring looked lazy and rushed.

They also failed to install a bathroom mirror properly - used the wrong type of glue, bad gluing method which resulted in spots appearing. This seems like basic stuff they should know how to do.

Kitchen installers were probably the worst of all. They definitely rushed the project overall and didn't even cut the countertop to a proper rectangle - one side is measurably longer than the other, though only really noticeable to me at this point.

DYM doesn't do flooring and they don't seem to be familiar with how their work impacts it. I wanted to do a waterfall on my counter with LVP for my flooring. They had installed the waterfall before the old tile flooring was removed which made it impossible to use LVP per the contractor I hired for flooring. I was forced to change my plans to use tile instead.

Overall I expect more from a general contractor. If you use DYM you should be more of an expert in how things get installed so you can properly catch them when they're doing things wrong. I am not an expert and was hoping their planning experience would be a little more helpful in selecting appropriate material and knowledgable in proper installations.
