Visited on a Sunday evening without reservation for a party of 8. We were seated without any issues. We had 2 children in our group and appreciated they brought out plastic cups with a cover and a straw for them as well as disposable plate and plastic utensils.

It was easy to order off the menu as we marked off the dim sum items we wanted and just told our server what we wanted for main menu items. Everything came out at a good pace.

We had the half Peking duck and absolutely loved the stir fried duck… it was so tender and flavorful. We also ordered A LOT of dim sum! It was nice that none of the dishes we had were too salty…we loved the shu mai and the sesame balls! Perfectly chewy and not over fried or overly greasy. Will definitely be back her again, great place for groups!

WOW!!! I came here specifically for the fried taro puffs & they did not disappoint! They were fluffy & light & not greasy at all. I got the usual suspects for dim sum - xiu mai, har gow, turnip cake, pork & preserved egg congee & the fresh fried (!) dough fritters! Also got the sesame balls for dessert & they were small & freshly made, served piping hot - a must get! Everything was fresh & made to order. This is the best dim sum I’ve had in the chicago land area! I’ve tried all the big ones in Chinatown & Ming Hin in the suburbs & this place beats them all. Service is excellent, ambiance is clean & modern & parking is free! So glad I have a dim sum place close to home in the western suburbs. Definitely will be back to try the rest of the menu.

Absolutely amazing experience. So many authentic options. Duck was absolutely amazing. The fish, dumplings and egg rolls were all outstanding.
The pictures are not great but I was so busy eating I almost forgot.
Truly a wonder place to eat real Chinese cuisine.

Update: 8/28/24

We came back to try some of their dim sum items as well as other dishes. This place is busier on Sundays which is good. Parking was still easy. Restaurant was busy but we didn’t have to wait for a table. Service in the beginning to the middle was excellent but started to taper off. Our waitress disappeared towards the end when we needed boxes and the check. I’ll have to take off a star for that. Food was still exceptional. Dim sum prices cost more than usual.

-eel fried rice 2 - I would not recommend this dish since you don’t get much eel in here.
-coconut curry pork chop 5 - big pieces of pork chop. Curry flavor has mild heat to it.
-bbq pork belly with oyster casserole 4 - good dish, lots of tofu pieces along with pork belly. A few pieces of oyster I would have liked more.
-siu mai 5 - meat was beautifully cooked. Add a little bit of chili paste. You’ll have a mouthful of savory, juicy goodness.
-shrimp dumpling 5 - nice, big chunks of shrimp. They were very juicy when biting into them.
-beef honeycomb (tripe) 5 - soft, chewy, easy to swallow. Make sure you eat this over a bed of rice.
-green onion pork bun 5 - bread was soft and easy to rip apart. Pork and onion were masterfully steamed.
-baked creamy egg yolk bun 5 - these come piping hot. If you bite too quickly, you’ll burn your mouth. Otherwise, you’ll be treated to a forkful of yummy, smooth egg yolk.
-stir fried sticky rice 5 - slightly oily, best if used in conjunction with white rice. Plentiful amount of meat. Rice was not too salty.
-black pepper with mushroom beef tenderloin 5 - beef was very tender and succulent. Big pieces of mushrooms. Mushrooms were flavorsome.

I definitely wouldn’t trust these 1 star reviews. There are always wannabe trolls. You can learn a lot about a reviewer by the way they review places. If they only put 1 star in all of the places they go to then it’s a fake profile. With that said, D Cuisine was a nice addition to the west suburbs. They have a ton of selection plus they have dim sum. Right now, we only have Minghin for dim sum and that place is too crowded. This location of D Cuisine was right next door to the Park to Shop Westmont/International mall/food court. The parking lot is large and its easy to get in and out. Prices are slightly pricey but they did advertise themselves as Chinese fine dining. Service was perfect no complaints.

-creamy king crab meat with fish soup 5/5 - bountiful pieces of fish and crab. Very good soup.
-fish fillet with yellow chives 5/5 - fish was very flaky and tender.
-peapod tips cooked with dry scallops and mushrooms 5/5 - great vegetable dish. I liked the way they cooked the garlic pieces.
-curry duck with tofu casserole 5/5 - sauce is mild, tofu soaking in the curry sauce was delicious, duck was tender.

Really like the dining atmosphere. Good service. Their live seafood is very fresh.

There are many different dishes. Some are much better than others.

From the dishes I tried, I recommend the siu mai, both types of egg tarts, coconut milk red bean pudding, dried scallop egg white fried rice, salt and pepper smelt, salt and pepper fish filet, live oysters steamed with black bean sauce, and live dungeness crab cooked with salty egg yolk, Peking duck, lobster.

Will update as I discover more good dishes to experience.
