Absolutely enjoyed every bite bursting with flavor with right amount of kick. I ordered the curry chicken, rice and peas with cabbage and festival bread ?‍?. Absolutely delicious and awesome customer service and short wait time in a calm yet radiant atmosphere. I highly recommend. Yummy delicious and soulfully nutritious.

This is the best Jamaican food I have had in years! I think it's better than what I had in Jamaica. The tender jerk chicken is smothered in house made jerk sauce (No, it's not gravy unless you make gravy with scotch bonnet peppers). The rice and peas (red beans) are so delicious. Even the vegetable, cabbage, is filled with flavor! It comes with a sweet fry bread called festival. Maybe because you have a festival in your mouth when you eat it! To find the best Caribbean food right here in Tucson, you must come to D's Island Grill!

Duwayne was very professional and friendly. Food was great and I love that they have some additional Jamaican products on the side that they sell such as crackers and jerk seasonings. I am glad that I found this restaurant . I love that they have a handwritten menu on the side that also shows the accurate prices. He is happy to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting Jamaican food to visit here. You won’t be disappointed !!!!! The atmosphere is easy going. And the place is really clean and comfortable to eat in. Thank you Duwayne. Hope to be back soon for more food.

Have eaten here a couple times now and the food and service are consistently great! This past time, I got the jerk pork and my friend got the jerk chicken. Both dishes were very flavorful and the pork had a nice smokey taste to it. It also was not dry at all!

Absolutely amazing food and service! Great flavor and spice. The oxtail is out of this world. Jerk pork and chicken are also delicious. I have yet to have a bad meal and I come every other week. You must try. 10/10 recommend

We just had D's Island Grill cater our neighborhood annual social event and the food was spectacular! It was a rainy day and they adjusted and were able to move the catering indoors. There wasn't a guest who didn't rave about the food which wasn't too salty or too spicy. Curry chicken, jerk chicken, vegetables, rice and peas, stew chicken, vegetables, coleslaw, drinks and desert. Duwayne was wonderful to work with--flexible, and helpful. His crew was kind and considerate. They set up in our kitchen and came back to break down and take away after the event! Highly recommend them!

It had been a while since we had their food. Prices have gone up since plus a new 5%fee on cards. Expected good quality and fresh food but it definitely wasn't. The jerk chicken was dry and overcooked didn't taste freshly made. Ox tail stew lacked flavor and the 'steamed' vegetables were soggy and terrible. Definitely not going back. If they expect people to pay high prices for their dishes they should at least offer good and fresh quality food.

Went to D’s Island Grill today for lunch. DISAPPOINTED is Too light of a Word. I order jerk chicken & was brought undercooked chicken with sauce poured over it like gravy! I brought it back to the counter at which time the owner was offended apparently saying he could NOT accept me saying the chicken was not cooked thoroughly. His tone was very elevated. I refused more chicken, asked for my money back & was refused. I left all the food on my plate there Y the counter & left. Never again will I patronize this place.
