Best spot in the east bay, huge selection, best prices around. Cheap and nice rosin, so many different types of hash, potent edibles, what led could you ask for. Oh and knowledgeable staff that help give informed fact based recommendation.

Follow up on the knowledgeable staff, thanks to Ani for a quick guide into the world of growing and pointing me down the road of light supported sun grown, living soil plants. Thanks for the insight and for everything you do!

Wonderful store, great selection, and genuinely caring owners (and security guards!) who really want to give back to the community. Oakland may not be the safest place (especially as an unprepared first-time visitor) but I’m thankful for the staff of Root’d—both for their recommendations, and for their kindness.

This place has a wide variety of edibles.I don't smoke, so edibles and tinctures are a must. The customer service is excellent, and the staff is knowledgeable about their products. This is one of our favorite dispensaries in Oakland. They get new things often and there are good deals throughout the week. Sandra Lopez is always super helpful and friendly. They also opened up the lounge, which is awesome. Stop by and have a smoke!

Stopped by today to pick up a couple items as a Christmas gift for a friend and Tyler helped me out. From the start of the transaction til finish, he was super kind and courteous. Being that I’m still new to these places, I was a little nervous but Tyler’s friendly vibe made me feel super relaxed. I left feeling really great and eager to return. He even mentioned a game that I had playing on my phone which helped spark a short conversation which put me even more at ease. Will definitely return!
